A team known as 'X3 max' have released a video which shows how an upcoming firmware update will allow people to jailbreak PS3's running firmware v3.50. Interestingly of all, there will reportedly be no downgraading required. Interesting stuff, and it is expected that some kind of 'announcement' will be made about the release of the update and GT 5 compatibility soon.

Its too soon to say, when the jailbreak first came out, youtube was plauged with videos jailbreaking firmware v3.50 which were obviously faked. I'll believe it when I see it.

looks possible, whether or not its fake is a different thing, if it is, then there is no toher way to jb a 3.50 other then psdowngrade

What u can get a dev/test ps3 on 2.15 Im going to do that and can you go all the way down to the first fw?
