So that means even though they patched the downgrade on 3.55 you can still do other things in service mode, right?

Also I'm still on 3.50 btw

Well not really I think its just for when they service your ps3 cause they have to keep your data private and I think you need other .self files to do different things (like downgrade)

No the Master Key was for downgrading, Sony simply change the Master Key. You can still go into service/factory mode on 3.55

Oh, I thought the Master Key could do other things too, well maybe not.

It can but this is a USB Master Key, that is just for downgrading and debugged PS3's
