IMO, a MASTER key means it can be used on nearly all CONSOLES, not firmwares. In other words, I think the true master key can be used on any already produced console, but not on new ones.

I can be wrong though.
If this was the System Master Key we could hack any firmware out like 3.42/3.50/3.55 but this is only the USB Master Key, which is limited.
