yes, you can go to walmart and buy a ps3. it will be on 3.01 firmware. just update it to 3.41, jailbreak it, put challenge lobbies on it, transfer it to your 3.55 console.
THEN RETURN IT 3 HOURS LATER! =D
i did this exact same thing, 3 times. except, i kept the ps3's for a month before returning them
if, for some DUMB ODD reason it is on later than 3.41 (which it wont be) - just return it saying its defective and just ask for a new one. :y:
question answered =D

I have 2 JailBroken ps3's
If you want I can sell you one. I'll put it up on eBay and send you the listing number. But the price has to be right. I'll load it up with COD4 Hacked, W@W Completely Hacked, and MW2 Hacked. Then all you have to do is transfer it to your online ps3.....
oh I forgot to say that I have a working PS Jailbrake too so you can ftp new files if you want...
