To anwser your question though, this is not patchable by firmware. Because you cannot even change the key as it would be useless as the same exploit can be used to get the new key. It also puts all current games/software in jeopardy because they wouldn't even work then as they would have the wrong key.

To give you the extent of this, let me just tell you that public keys for a console have never ever been released for a gaming console of this sort. The funny thing is also that the PSPs keys were also in the PS3 to so you can expect homebrew on that now even without custom firmware.

I don't get how you state how the keys are useful in the beginning and then end up with no they wont do anything and no one knows how to use them.

If you need a tutorial on how to use them, then they are not for you. Simple as that.

these keys can be used to sign anything, like pkgs or even the ftp server, but no one knows how to, if anyone finds out how to sign ftp server, then all hell will break lose, i said they are useless becuz sony will find a way to disable them, i remember when jailbreak was released, everyone was happy and celebrating, and were saying sony cant do anything, then boom patched it, and then downgrade came out, and then boom sony patched it, and this will end the same way, so dont get your hopes up, boom
