(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); This is just going to show you how you can easily test if a .pkg file is signed as official without having to go on your PS3 and test it, which you might test improperly.

First off you'll need to download this, its a retail(official/signed) .pkg extractor: You must login or register to view this content.

Then you just extract the .rar with winrar or a similar program and run the .exe file and use it..

Here's a screenshot as an example, just opening a non-signed non-official .pkg of ftp server: You must login or register to view this content.

So if you sign it as official successfully it WILL open on here, and will work on your PS3 with CFW. This is due to the program being run off what the PS3 private keys are.

We could extract the keys but we already have the keys I think. We are waiting on someone to design a program to actually use the keys to sign it? Correct?

Since we have All of the keys, plus the Decryption algorithm made by Mathieulh, it is possible to derive an ENcryption algorithm. Problem is getting that decryption algorithm out of Mathieulh's program.

That's hard stuff, right thar.

What I don't understand is how retail pkg are signed is it just the keys put into the .hex when unpackaged? I'm clueless... someone try searching for the keys in a retail .pkg to see where they are or something.
