(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hey guys I just wanted you to know that you can't just sign the package and install it. Its not that simple. In order to run the package you have to mod the kernel for it to be allowed to run. Yes, it will install, but it won't run because your kernel isn't modded. That's why that one guy that posted his breakthrew on signing a package wasn't able to get it to work. Geohot in his video was using an unsigned .pkg because we was able to mod the nos/nar couldn't understand him lol. Its more than just signing the package. I know I will probably get negative repped from this and people will call me a retard but w/e. But if not if you think this is helpfull I wouldn't mind some help getting a star


Edit: Not only does the kernel stop us but drm stops us from booting off hdd.

Wrong lol.. nobody on here signed any pkg correctly. You won't be able to use iso loaders because they need payloads but other homebrew will work. But the way forward is just using geohots modded firmware and not need any signing.

lol fail thread. GeoHotz just has modded firmware , more modded than CFW. Highly doubt he'll be releasing this due to him not liking piracy.

No one has ever signed a .pkg...

/facepalm. unless they work for sony and have the Private key. As they co-exist , one can not work without the other.

lol. who ever made the program saying " This .pkg is not signed " doesn't even know if it works. They've never tested it on a actuall .pkg, it could easily be a bluffed program.


I actually think ihatecompvir could be an asset to helping us.

Can't you just run make_fself_npdrm from the SDK and bypass the DRM???

You would have to change the SFO to read from the hdd as well decrypt the eboot.bin into an elf, hexedit usb0 in replace of bdvd, sign and repkg with make_fself_npdrm, throw on a usb stick and install using KakaRotoks 1.02 fw no???
