I have seen a lot of people talking about Sony releasing a new firmware update that will possibly brick your PS3. Well, i have something to say about this: Well as all of you may know, us jailbreaking our own purchased PS3's can actually benefit Sony's sells; how many kids out there probably went a head and bought new PS3 just because they knew it will be jailbreak-able or just because they could have "Cl's" on Modern Warfare 2. More thing that will prevent Sony from bricking our PS3's is that they cant brick something WE HAVE BOUGHT. They simply cant do that, i for one, will sue the fuk outta them if they do that, thats simple nonsense, plus we all have to remember Sony is a multimillion company, probably the best in the world when it comes to electronics (not sure about this). A third point is that jailbreaking and running your own custom code is actually LEGAL as it is LEGAL to jailbreak an iDevice. I hope this cleared some confusions, and thanks for reading

Sony can not brick your PS3 for using a CFW. That is illegal.. And sony WILL be sued if they did do it. It's our system. We can do WHAT WE WANT to it. But it voids are warranty. As long as you know the terms, you know what you can do.

Hands down, everyone wants CFW or Jailbreak for MW2 Modded Lobbies. Activision (or Infinity Ward) wanted Sony to ban PSN users for hosting modded lobbies. Sony HAS STATED that they cannot ban users for a games error. Sony said that it is up to the game developers to fix a game that is exploitable.

well on the warranty part what if you JB ps3 right download software from sony to install to Ps3 after JB if you dont want it JB any more will that have your warranty in good condition or what
