(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); When all you guys go to delete your boot history theres another file in the same folder. The name is "explore_view.txt". That file tells your boot history file what to record the boot history from such as, Games, Music, etc. If you open up the .txt file and and remove everything exept the photo lines of code it will no longer record your boot history exept the photos you viewed. Unless you have some hacked/homebrew photos this should make everything alot easier for all.

*Tutorial*
Step 1. Download the edited explore_view.txt . You must login or register to view this content.

Step 2. Start your Ftp server on your PS3 and open your FTP client on your computer and connect.

Step 3. Go into /dev_hdd0/home/000000XX/etc/

Step 4. Delete your current explore_view.txt.

Step 5. Drag and drop the new one and your good to go.

Now your good to go and no more worrying about boot history! Smile

Using the delete method really doesn't make sense because even if your not signed into PSN your history still gets sent to sony. If you use my method you never have to worry about sony knowing what your doing.

Yes but who said you didn't buy a new PS3 or your sharing a PS3 with someone else now?

nvm this is pointless and it overrights the data once you restart your PS3, would rather have stealth PKG

No it doesn't... At least for me, when I open FTP server, it puts the code "BLES01031" in my boot history (Black Ops).

I've been working on a fix for that and I have one. I edited the explore_view.txt to only record the photos you have viewed. I have even tested it with reboot and it stays the same. Unless your running some type of hacked/homebrew photos you should be good. Heres a download link to save time for you all so you don't have to edit your own, just drag and drop, and overwright it in the etc folder and your good to go. You must login or register to view this content.

Try the new method. The reboot problem is fixed with the new one.
