(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); When all you guys go to delete your boot history theres another file in the same folder. The name is "explore_view.txt". That file tells your boot history file what to record the boot history from such as, Games, Music, etc. If you open up the .txt file and and remove everything exept the photo lines of code it will no longer record your boot history exept the photos you viewed. Unless you have some hacked/homebrew photos this should make everything alot easier for all.

*Tutorial*
Step 1. Download the edited explore_view.txt . You must login or register to view this content.

Step 2. Start your Ftp server on your PS3 and open your FTP client on your computer and connect.

Step 3. Go into /dev_hdd0/home/000000XX/etc/

Step 4. Delete your current explore_view.txt.

Step 5. Drag and drop the new one and your good to go.

Now your good to go and no more worrying about boot history! Smile

i have a 3.41 for CL, but now i have permanently jailbroken my 3.55 and have the blackbox ftp on my 3.55 working. I was wondering if sony bans you, what do they ban then? Only my PSN account or my whole ps3 so you can never go online with any account on that ps3. I wanna do your tutorial bout the boot history but im afraid that i will remove something i shouldnt. Would it be better to put back an official 3.55 firmware or just do the tutorial and hoping that i aint gonna do nothin wrong :rolleyes::rolleyes:

hope you can help me

The new modified explore_view file sticks even after reboot, however when I check boot_history, game.dat, and patch.dat it's still recording everything. I re-cleared boot_history, game.dat and patch.dat then rebooted my ps3 and ran a couple games and emulators and they all show up again. Am I missing something?

I looked through the thread and saw that another guy with a fat ps3 can't get this to work either. I have a 60gb.

These are all the user accounts on your PS3. Change any you will be using homebrew on. A quick way I use to check which number belongs to which account is by going into /dev_hdd0/home/xxxxxxxx/friendim/avatar and looking at the names of each friend avatar, and if they're the friends on the account you want then boom.
