I had cfw on but am running ofw, would i be safe? and this audio was posted by someone else. It was kinda a prank call thing asking the questions. All sony has done is screw around on these customer support things. On person says this, someone else says that... what do we believe?

Sony is already losing money to piracy, why would they ban accounts and further screw themselves? I mean really think about it, since GEO's 3.55 Sony and its Game producers have probably noticed a HUGE drop in sales since piracy has raped SCE.

If you buy more than 5 games a year but only end up playing one or two online, it is more economical to buy a second PS3, play those couple games online with that one, then just pirate the other 5 that you only do campaign mode with.

sony can't ban u fool!
They only can ban u when u update ur frigging console (ur console will brick and ur acc will be banned)
and if ur afraid of getting banned just stay offline and don't log in the playstationnetwork, so that u can prevent the updating issue, people nowadayss... :catfight:

I have not touched the cfw and I never sign in since I am still on 3.41. I also have recently installed "signed" 3.41 homebrew apps so I don't need to jailbreak the system. Will I be safe??....Or could Sony actually still disable my system?
your good. Even if they were to ban (which IMHO they wont) They would issue a warning first
