(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); The PS3's best type of drive to use is a FAT32, most new Portable HDD's or memory sticks come formatted as NTFS, and most people have no idea how to format them to FAT32 drives so the PS3 will read them..

The PS3 does read NTFS drives but only if they are smaller then 4 GB, the tool below will format ANY drive to make it FAT32, I am posting it because I tried so many methods to make my NTFS 320Gb HDD FAT32 and came across this tool. It is a common predicament so here is the tool.

It has no viruses, I use it all the time now and DEREKTROTTER downloaded it from me yesterday.

I am requesting this is moved to ps3 general. It is neither an exploit and a hack. The only hacking usage it has is formatting large NTFS drives. But I think it should be in general.

Doesn't work. It's totally useless. I got a 32gig usb stick and this doesn't do anything to it. Infact it won't even work with it...it just gives a ton of errors.

Most drives now don't allow you to format it to FAT32 when you right click and select format.
