dude........have u been reading this thread at alll? 1st of alll..there's no such thing as 5.5....unless you are marty mcfly and u can get in ur time machine and go into the future with doc to the year 2020 in ur dolorean.... the lastest official firmware from sony is 3.56.... sony has some kind of new rootkit feature on it that will make it harder for us hackas (just matter of time), also seems like they claim that they will be able to snoop on us and update the PS3 automatically without us knowing about it.

Most of it, is just speculation for now....no hard evidence yet... if you wanna know exactly what's in 3.56....the best place to find it is on the official sony ps3 website... but i'm sure sony is lying thru their teeth.....3.56 is still very mysterious & what it actually does. ...... hope i could help.....anyone feel free to correct me or add more input....

i can understand where u coming from, but here's a fact: this current DNS BYPASS is the same one that's been around since 3.41 going to 3.55.... thats what i am saying.....lets do our research 1st before commiting to sony's ways a.k.a. SATAN..... LOL....

i as was aware was the dns was patched i ddnt even try it and ddnt even think about that tbh i shouldnt of updated as ive hardly played an online game in at least a week its been more 1 player games ive played over the last week or so
