* Give Now the IP address is in the "PS3 Logan5 proxy tool" is displayed (usually begins with 192.168.xx or 10.0.0.x IP)
* Click on "Enable UPnP in
* Test your Internet connection then
* Then comes a message about the system upgrade, these are simply ignored
* Then go the XMB to sign in PSN and trying to sign up.

All existing bypass methods have been blocked/patched. This has been patched, unless there is a new bypass method released there is no getting online at the moment on FW3.55

I took a look, in the dev_flash there a version.txt file. With everything saying 3.55 blahblahblah, I'm guessing it scans that.

Couldn't edit it over FTP. Maybe you can with what-ever-his-name-is awesome file manager.

it does not matter what is in version.txt, thats not what it looks at. My guess is whatever psn scans in the system is encrypted, or just not in 3.55. They may have added files to 3.56 that it looks for so if you are on 3.55 those files aren't there which = no psn access. Just a theory though.
