Can’t trickshot me!
(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Ok I just installed multiMAN 1.15.04 on my jailbroken 3.55 CFW geohot PS3 and I decided to try and backup MW2. So I did it and after it finished I tried to play the game (the one I backed up) and all it did was boot me to XMB and didn't launch the game. Is there anything I didn't do correctly or anything I have to do first to get the game to play? Please help, thanks

UPDATE 2/10/11: I decided to get Waninkoko's v2 CFW and install it over geohot's. It works because I after I launched Black ops from multiMAN, it brought me to XMB and showed my Tony Hawk disc as BO instead. After that, I deleted the game utility of Black Ops and tried it launching from multiMAN again. Luckily, the game launched and it asked if I wanted to update, I clicked cancel and now I am successfully running a backup of Black Ops. Thanks for all the help guysClaps:hitman:

Others will say with kmeaw's because everybody is using it. both will not brink you ps3. lastly with kmeaw's you will need to get a lvl 2 patcher. You can find v9 on this site or You must login or register to view this content. waninkoko's v2 doesn't need this.

Oh ok what exactly does the lv2 patcher do? I've seen everyone using it. And do I just install waninkoko v2 over my geohot CFW?

sorry i forgot to mention both can be installed over geohotz CFW and as fpr lvl 2 patcher it helps backup mangers play more blackscreen games. Waninkoko v2 already has the syscall 36 built in so it doesn't need the patch.

once your on a new CFW black ops will boot with no problems MW2 u just need muiltman 1.15.00+ and it will run with the "SELECT + X" method to my knowledge, i havent backed it up cuz i was to busy with AC brotherhood.

i had similar probs with some backups on my external hdd such as Assasin's Creed 2 that kicks me back to XMB upon boot. All i did was ensure a game disc(any ps3 game disc) is in the console, Select + X on the game and Multiman will prompt u about some emulation blah blah and stuffs just press Yes then boot the game from XMB it should work.

Used to have probs running Fear 2 and AC2 on ext hdd but they worked after using this Select + X thingy. The only game i still have probs running is 3D Heroes right now. Im able to launch the game but then once i start playing the game it freezes upon further loading. Dunno if its a bad file or MM doesnt support it but anyway it looks like a bad game to me so i didnt bother redownloading it anyway.

maybe its a bad file, I've only played it three times just to see if it worked ill try it again. Also if your on kmeaw do you have the lvl 2 patcher v9, you have to run it everytime before you run a backup. Kinda stupid to me but some ppl like doing it.
