2. Scroll down to 'System Settings'.
3. Then scroll down to 'Backup Utility'.
4. Choose 'Back Up'.
5. Finally, pick the device to backup too (memory stick, USB flash-drive, etc).

1. Fully Restore Your PS3 ( 4 Hours 30 Mins )

2. Before You Put In Date And Time

3. Go Into System Recovery Mode
( How to go into recovery mode

4. Go to System Update Via USb W/e

5. Download The OFW 3.55 or 3.41

6. The u Can Download The CFW To The System

7. Now u have a ps3 with CFW

8. BUT NOT DONE YET

9. To Sign In u Need FukPSN v.5

HOW TO INSTALL IT

Installation:

1. Install dev_blind.pkg and OpenPS3FTP on your PS3 (using FTP, external USB or what else)
2. Launch dev_blind and make it mount the flash
3. Open OpenPS3FTP and connect to it using a PC
4. Connect via FTP to PS3 (using username root and password openbox)
5. Go to /dev_blind/data/cert
6. Rename CA24.cer as CA24.cer.bak
7. Put my CA24.cer as /dev_blind/data/cert/CA24.cer
8. Set the PS3’s PRIMARY and SECONDARY DNS server to your PC’s IP address or 8.8.8.8
9. Reboot your PS3
10. Start fu(kPsn-v0.4.exe
11. Enjoy with PSN

it doesnt work. i just did it in 10 minutes. idk how much shit you guys have on your Ps3, but my full ps3 recovery takes 5 minutes xD.

ya know, i wasted 10 hours doing this, i done it twice on my 80gb fat console... chechm03 model... it never worked, im gonna try once more, i highly doubt it will work, but its worth another try >...> it is possible i went to recovery mode to quick, since this says wait until your prompted to insert the date... i done it way before that, i done it as soon as i was asked to plug in my controller, i will report back on this, unfortunately i won't be able to give proof tho, so you's will just have to trust me >...< lol...

OMG fw version is stored in the nand NOT in the HDD
