Im not a pirate so plz dont flame... since cfw has come out i like to download games and try them b4 i buy them, plus my harddrive can only hold one game at a time bc i have music and movies on there.

I think so too. I dont really see them investigating every user that came on that site... Your talking about millions of IP addresses. DMCA is USA only. Then again, They have to proof we used the CFW. Which is possible. Hence the emails we got about removing our CFW. Then what they wanna say? "You used backups with geo's cfw" ? Not possible. His "CFW" did not allow that and he made it clear he doesnt want that to happen. After that came kmeaw, waninkoko etc etc, which supported backups.
If, and thats just a IF, geo loses this, they WILL come after kmeaw and all others. I dont know the US law but as far as i know, if you BUY something, its yours. Shit on it, piss in it, rape it, let it rape you, its yours. Period. But then again everyone entered a SONY server with MODIFIED code(PSN). I think thats what sony wants to proof.

Yeah that's true. I personally don't care about this whole thing. What bothers me is saying things about rights and all of that crap. Geo should have had more common sense about the inevitable of piracy.

He was playing smart. They can win 1 casefile a.t.m. Against Failoverfl0w. Failoverfl0w released "tools" on which geo made the CFW. Thats what he claims, we all know that aint true. So geo is kinda a little bitch putting the fault to failoverfl0w team. He's smarter then you think. He's just saying: "Well failoverfl0w released the tools i used to do this." which makes failoverfl0w guilty on releasing the things. Failoverfl0w "pave the way" for geo.

I knew what you meant by paving the way. This whole thing has gotta end LOL. But then again, I like seeing some of the comments like "Sony will never get us (meaning hackers)" on here. 95% of the people here are just wannabes, where the other 5 are people like Geo. If I were Sony, I'd hire a guy like Geo and pick his brain for as much money as I possibly can. That's just me though. But yea, if you people visited the site, Sony would get you like the Boogeyman LOL

Change 5% to 0,0001%. You shouldnt forget that IF they sue everyone, they will sue BBC and many other big company's that downloaded the CFW and tried it to confirm the article they want to post. Which will, and im certain of it, result in a MASSIVE attack on Sony with lawsuits. Not to mention sony will lose millions of customers. If they pull through, they are done. Even if they pull through and ask many users to pay a couple of million dollars(graf_choko) who can pay that? We got a saying here in Holland which translates; "You cant pick feathers from a bald chicken". That will be their dilema. Sony will probably go after the small time players instead of the big ballers like BBC, Google, Youtube, Twitters, Facebook and the list would go on and on. Not even to mention the "hackers" that will be pissed and DDoS(Distributed Denial of Service) the shit out of Sony.

EDIT;; like i said, they are already planning a DDoS attack on the sony website.
