right here was my idea i only tried 2 cer files that was ca24 and ca27the 1's we already use

the idea bassically was instead of putting the charles certificate into a 3.60 ps3 "which we cant do"

why not put the 3.60 ca24.cer certificate into charles because either way the cer's have to the same info in both files

eg: charles cer from the program renamed it to ca24.cer and replaced in ps3

like i said i only tried 2 of them not all of them

i got the 3.60 cer''s out of a rebuild folder which was posted on ngu

i cant test them all because i dnt have access to a 3.60 ps3 i borrow my neighbours sometimes when i want to try things

The only way this would work would be to have the certificate on the ps3, on 3.60. You would need to be able to write to the flash... meaning 3.60 CFW ... -.- or somehow add the cert to the 3.60 PUP and reflash the firmware. ... BRICK or is this even possible since we dont have the private key? ...

I'm glad people are trying stuff out. Me and 4 of my friends have 3.55 Kmeaw and it would be badass to play any game we want with eachother online again,
but in the mean time I'll use my 3.60 OFW PS3 - :FU: FFFFUUUUU!

if we can find the "rsa private key" not the sony private key we can decrypt ssl traffic and find the passphrase in wireshark

apparently in internet explorer there is a way to export the certificate with the private key. Saw it on google somwhere.
