this idea will only work when connecting a 3.60ofw ps3 to psn using charles

we now need to figuire out how to get a ps3 certificate to register as a charles certificate
as in issued by charles

right here was my idea i only tried 2 cer files that was ca24 and ca27the 1's we already use

the idea bassically was instead of putting the charles certificate into a 3.60 ps3 "which we cant do"

why not put the 3.60 ca24.cer certificate into charles because either way the cer's have to the same info in both files

eg: charles cer from the program renamed it to ca24.cer and replaced in ps3

like i said i only tried 2 of them not all of them

i got the 3.60 cer''s out of a rebuild folder which was posted on ngu

i cant test them all because i dnt have access to a 3.60 ps3 i borrow my neighbours sometimes when i want to try things

all i did was open of the cer's out of the 3.60 flash folder in notepad copied the info out of it

opened up the charles cer and pasted the copied info and then saved it oh and make sure u click open with and then click shell command

it will turn it back into a certificate file

ok, you know if/of a way to extract information from the certificates? also i read somewhere you have to edit the vsh.self to bypass the new auth sony are using however im not entirely sure if it is true ill try to find the link the the page so you can see it

not going to work. the certificates in 3.60 are exactly the same as those in 3.55. you won't get any results. the only way you are going to do something is if you insert the charles certificate in 3.60 OFW and reflash it.
