first of all,extract the folder Windows98 in the desktop

open filezilla and connect to PS3 with Openftpserver

rename the windows98 folder to WIN98 and transfer to

dev_hdd0/game/HBDB90000/USRDIR

now go to your ps3 and open DOSBOX

then write

mount c ~/

then

c:

then

cd WIN98

then

imgmount a w98.img


then

boot w98.img


then

enjoy windows 98!

dude i swere i was just there at his site and he was just saying sumthin about he cnt get xp to work if he doesnt eve have 98. HOLY SHIZZ *0* but that was lik a few hours ago

Its got nothing to do with ram.
98,3.1,95 are all DOS based Operating Systems.
XP,VISTA,7 are not.. Smile

Maggbot timeout!
XP runs on NT so using DosBox will not do the trick. We would need a port of a x86 emulator in order to accomplish this. Me and a couple guys are playing around with it over at Hax to see how stable we can get 98 on DosBox. So the real thing that would kick this up a notch would be to port over that x86 emulator and then we could actually boot Windows 7 on the PS3.
