first of all,extract the folder Windows98 in the desktop

open filezilla and connect to PS3 with Openftpserver

rename the windows98 folder to WIN98 and transfer to

dev_hdd0/game/HBDB90000/USRDIR

now go to your ps3 and open DOSBOX

then write

mount c ~/

then

c:

then

cd WIN98

then

imgmount a w98.img

then

boot w98.img

then

enjoy windows 98!

what is the point in windows 98 if you had a computer then why waste your time with this the only way i would do this is if someone got windows xp on there then i might try but other then that it just seems pointless to me

Seriously, I don't think anyone should so this. It is incredibly slow and most of the time, it freezes. If you want to use the otherOS feature on your PS3, then I recommend you use Linux.

is there a way to get windows to use ps3 usbs, and the disk reader?

no, as far as i know

only thing you can do is to edit the .img file and add files into it
