so i soldered a progskeet to one of my ps3 slims.

took some pictures, was quite involved........ but well worth the experience. i have got pretty confident with soldering now.

the best tip i can give somebody that attempts this? ............ patiance, take your time, and check each and every connection before powering up.

works 100% and i am very happy with the results.

if anybody considerers installing progskeet/infectus/e3 and is confused on where to start, ask me the question, will help out as much as i can.

You can dual boot with that?

so on the dual boot, how does that exactly work? I mean do my saves/trophies/data carry over from my OFW to my CFW when I use dual boot or are they two separate "systems" technically?

you cannot as yet dual boot with progskeet.

E3 Flasher is the currently the only one with Dual-Boot capabilities. :p

i agree.

i had intended to film my progskeet install but after the third attempt (2 non working attempts traced to wrong kind of wiring used) i was so sick of soldering that i had lost the will to live let alone film it again. and that ps3 died just after my install anyway so it wouldnt have mattered.
