The glitch only works with update 1.10 hence you have to downgrade if you want to use the glitch and before I receive another million questions on how to downgrade here is how it works:
Delete the GT5 game data in the game data utility folder on your ps3 and then start the game. Now download and install all updates up to the sixth one which is 1.10. As soon as update 7 starts (got 62 MB) press the circle button to cancel. That's it.
Keep in mind that you lose everything that is saved in the game data (pictures, replays and thumbnails). You will also lose the cars from 2011 if you played on version 2.0 already. No need to say that you can't go online with GT5 if you play on an older version.
Always keep a backup copy of your savefile on a USB-stick just to be on the safe side.

Would anyone be able to glitch the track for me? I have no idea how to use Garage Editor, or how to install it

1-you deleted all patches installed and installed a new game?
2 - you installed the patch until 1:10?
How's your game? Ran at least 1 track? Bought at least 1 car?
The track appears to you in arcade mode?

The install doesn't run 1.10 anymore. It skips over to 2.02

If you follow the steps correctly it works. I did it last Saturday.
Disable automatic update of ps3

my automatic updates is off. Still takes me straight to 246 MB = 2.02

I delete the file in game data utility folder, start the game it ask me to install a new file in the game data utility folder for the game to start, then once its done downloading it sends me straight to the main updates where it tells me to update to 2.15. I click install and it starts with a 246 MB file which I believe is update 2.02.

You MUSTdelete all the update first and the GT5 data from your PS3.
then install your GT5 first 6 update and when is downloading the 7th press circle button and confirm. Then the glitch can be done.

And how do i delete all the updates? I start out with data 2.01 automatically

That's because you have either Academy edition,XL edition or platinum.This method only works with the original game.
