1. Start multiman and rip the game to HDD or Install PSN PKG
2. Go to HDD0/games/DEADISLAND Folder/PS3GAME/USRDIR/Data
3. Copy data0.pak to your computer.
4. Open data0.pak in winrar
5. Drag and drop the "achievements.xml" into data0.pak
Click yes to overwrite if prompted.

6. Copy back the data0.pak to the ps3 into this location
HDD0/games/DeadIsland Folder/PS3GAME/USRDIR/Data
Click yes to overwrite if prompted

That's. It, Launch the game via MM or PSN XMB link (after data transfer back to OFW) And enjoy your Plat by the time you get control of your Character in the first level.

You NEED DLC to unlock DLC trophies. else its only 83%

This should work for both Japan and US/UK trophy lists. though I have only tested US/UK.

NO this is not a save. And NO you CANNOT use XPLODER.

edit: works fine, just put the "achievements.xml" with the "achievements_dlc1.xml" in the same location and all trophies pop up! now i am off to see if i can those other games working now.

hey im uk and just bought dead island a couple days ago ( disk version ) i noticed im on 1.3.0 version tho and theres is no gamedata install all the data is stored in the ps3 save data utility ? is there any way 2 get a pkg update or sumthing so i can overright the required files ?

you need the psn version of the game for the mod to work.

thx 4 the quote but im sure theres a way 2 mod the disk version of the game im gunna download the psn .pkg installer try and get the files on my cfw ps3 then go from there if i have no luck ill have 2 look in the save game data files .....

You can get this to work on the CFW PS#. By ripping the disc to HDD. I'll look into the dev menu bit a little later. got some things I need to clear first off my plate.
