1. Start multiman and rip the game to HDD or Install PSN PKG
2. Go to HDD0/games/DEADISLAND Folder/PS3GAME/USRDIR/Data
3. Copy data0.pak to your computer.
4. Open data0.pak in winrar
5. Drag and drop the "achievements.xml" into data0.pak
Click yes to overwrite if prompted.

6. Copy back the data0.pak to the ps3 into this location
HDD0/games/DeadIsland Folder/PS3GAME/USRDIR/Data
Click yes to overwrite if prompted

That's. It, Launch the game via MM or PSN XMB link (after data transfer back to OFW) And enjoy your Plat by the time you get control of your Character in the first level.

You NEED DLC to unlock DLC trophies. else its only 83%

This should work for both Japan and US/UK trophy lists. though I have only tested US/UK.

NO this is not a save. And NO you CANNOT use XPLODER.

I just looked at your xml. Its the exact same xml as the US one. Are you sure you are replacing it correctly?

wml for both EU / JAP are the same....
xml from the PSN version is different cause it have the DLC trophy as well

yes man i replaced the file inside data0.pak and copyed it and started the game and did 1 kill but nothing pop up on the us version it worked fine ?!?!

Ah.. That's what you did wrong. Delete all saves and start a new game .. All trophies unlock on just moving forward

I have the regular dead island. My brother runs a game stop so i'm going to switch it out for goty version. I can't wait to try this out. will be nice to have the plat.
