This save DOES NOT allow you to earn trophies nor save. So if you want to be able to save, trade the items to a friend or something then have them trade you back on your normal character.

How do I edit the game save? do I need a CFW?

No CFW needed to mod or use the save.

what program do you use to edit the game save?

you can still unlock if you resign with Xploder. I got the "All in a Family" trophy with this save.

in reply to other questions i saw on here ...
Only use this save as copy on another user on your ps3 and just copy to your main char/account .. this can be done by Saving the file "no xploder neeeded" to your ps3 "user 2 or any user u would like" and then go on your main account start the game.

When you are in the game take another controller and turn it on and hit start.. this will bring up a list of all your users on your ps3.
select the user with the save and enter the game...

and just Drop all his stash into your world.. Note "Collect all the drops and put them in a chest and then save the game before you exit out with your 2nd controller as the game some times freezes.. "

When you exit the game with your 2nd controller you will not be able to save the game on the other account this can be used to copy items over and over and over ..
