Follow more instruction:
The last gold brick can be obtained in a race. The race is located at the same level height as the helicarrier, above the water to the left of Kingpin Tower (On the map it is the icon of a Staff with a diamond).
Best character to use for the race Star guy (Guardians of The Galaxy). Use X button to ascend and O button to descend, don't be afraid to make sharp turns, but also make sure you don't spam the O or X buttons or you will fail.
Replaying missions from inside the Helicarrier will get you the story trophies.
For story related trophies, head inside the Helicarrier and go to the control panel, and replay the story missions. Load the mission, collect a few studs, then pause the game, choose "quit" then select "Save and Exit", it will then save and the trophy for that level should pop. Rinse and repeat for the rest of the story trophies.
Now use this Save and follow instruction:
For all Character trophies, purchase the final blacked out characters using this Save:

If you have the disc version so I have no idea. My Saves are for EU, so it wouldn't be regional problems. I guess the US does not have the same updates as the EU version.

SUCCESS!! I took the EU file download, copied everything from the EU save (leaving the param.sfo and icon image alone) and paste into my US Save (from my PS3 Unit) then resign the Save onto itself. Uploaded into PS3 file system. game works fine now. No working on the same for Lego Batman 2. lol Thank you for your guidance.

Yep, that's exactly how I resign all of my Saves, glad it worked.

Can’t trickshot me!
So I've resigned the saves but can't get the story level trophies to unlock ?
Has anyone been able to do this ? I go into the map, select a level and choose "Story Mode". I then collect a few studs and choose "Exit" followed by "Save and Exit" but nothing.
I have done this before with other LEGO games just fine. Anyone any ideas ?

Either the game is buggy and it glitched, or try just playing through the entire level in Story Mode, if that fails, try to complete it on Free Play Mode.
