i only have hdmi but there is a port in my computer tried it with debut and it doesnt work it doesnt detect it u would need red white yellows

just buy a dazzle or blitzbox... so much easier

I have vista and WMM doesn't allow it.. Anyone know a way?

the hdmi that comes with laptops are output only no input. if you want to record using an hdmi you would have to buy stuff

u really dont explain this at all...im on vista and this is ur step

2.start up windows movie maker
3.go to the end box where theres a preview
4.switch to ur ps3 and change the display setting to component
5.the screen should go black
6.go on ur pc and confirm the new display settings,and do the same for audio

3 doesnt happen so how am i suppose to move on??....
