when u click X your current display should go black (because its displaying component) then go on wmm go on the drop down list and select component then go to the end box there should be a black box in that screen thats says do you want to accept dislay settings click yes and carrry on note it is counting down to change back to the old display settings so be quick if u fail just restart the process

I still have no clue what your talkin about cause im doin everythin and nothing comes up on the preview part of WMM

GO xmb,settings,display settings,component(one with red,white and yellow wires) next top one do u want to change displays settings X then it will show up on ur pc
