Just to help you out, if you get a ban for saying the word "Gay" again, send them an email arguing the ban and explain to them that you was using the wrong as an "adjective".
You will also need to state, that you are sorry for the misunderstanding, but what you meant by the word was, showing a "lively mood" and meant no "sexual harassment" to said person in anyway, and are truly sorry for said misunderstanding.
Add the quote above, also state, that you are truly upset but the idea, that Sony would brand you, as someone that would "sexually harass" anyone because of there sexual preference, and that you find this to be some what of a "defamation of character" on Sony's part, and can understand why they would ban you for said misunderstanding, but as this was not the case, could they please lift said ban.
or something like this:
An email like this could be a good thing, to think about using, we all know it's BS but they have to take your side of the story too, and as you added "defamation of character", this to them sound's alarm bell's off as this could lead to a law suit, Sony, will then most likely send a response, this could be a harsh warring and letting you off the ban, or them just sticking to said ban, if they do the latter, you can take if to court, or suck it up and take the ban.
Hope this help's, and sorry it's soooooo long lol
