Well the easiest way to get a copy of the playlist would be packet sniffing when the game launches into the very first lobby. (reads fetching playlist / playlists) so the trick would be to inject or bypass that in some fashion. (such as logging in with one account, then the using either another console or some other method to run a ps3 with the modded data.
Again however you'd need to figure out how to inject your custom playlist. As packet injection would be awfully tricky. (unless it's really small the file is most likely split up into several packets) There was that theme exploit where he was able to run basically a "hello world" on the user level. Maybe he found a method to overwrite that playlist? (don't even think you can write files other than copy and backup and I really doubt you can specify a location, but I've been wrong many times in my life before :tits

I don't think you can LAN if your ps3s are on different fws. I think the whole two ps3s thing is bull yeah he has two maybe one was to test on I think the concept on everyone needing two is just pol reading wayyy to much into his post. thats what im thinking, but how would you get dvars in, my first guess would be the offline profiles but i dont know how theyre designed, if they can contain dvars.

Now think u can only do it on a FW lower than 3.30 is because ur not online so what you can do is put the pacth on ur hard drive than do the little thing that can let you get online with a lower FW... it isnt really that hard the only actual challenge that people seem to forget you have to have a ps3 UNDER 3.30 FW people cant do the hack because people are trying to do it on current patches

So you decide to believe someone that CLAIMS he got told by "one of hunters close friends", now okay hunter he might have been trying to throw everyone off track, but then just because "his friends, friend" told you he has been everyone seems to think its now easier than editing HEX.
I'm 100% sure it has nothing to do with HDD, what with all the more highly experienced HDD editor's out there, that would have tried this a LONG time ago when PS3 first came out and since HDD Studio came out what 2008? Think about it. Why would some random person get "patch" Hacks before all the people trying this before him?
