Even though I have no way of putting the patch on my ps3, I still read every word that you wrote about this to better understand how to do it. I found your tutorial very helpful and very easy to follow. If I ever do get a device that allows me to put the patch on my PS3, then I have you to thank for helping me to have a patch all ready for me when I put it on there.
