I always See alot of people asking what is the best headset for the ps3 that also works with the 360.
So i'm cr8ing this fourm to help people find there own perfect headset
So post what headset you have and what would you rate it out of 10. Also if you could go back in time which other headset you wish you would of bought instead.

a40s>Tpro>TB
i do reccomend you just buy the A40 amp and get a pair of Sennheisers to go with it

actually, i have used both the tritton ax pros and currently have the turtle beach dx11s.
the trittons do have 4 SMALL drivers compared to the turtle beach headset which has 2 big ones.
with that saying that the tritton has 4 small drivers is everything is high pitched even with the sub turned up. the sub only affects the explosions. I do mean ONLY the explosions. This saying that everytime a harrier comes in it VERY deafening and i almost threw my headset it hurt (yes i had my volume low also.) Another note, the light in the left cup went out in a couple weeks.
With the dx11s, i have the bass boost which makes everything deeper. the sound is much better to me. even though its simulated, you WILL NOT be able to tell the difference at all.
i currently have the dx11s and say it is a better choice. especially if you want to save your hearing :p

well thanks for your input, i just got my pros today and i have fallen in love with them. i kinda had the same problem with the harrier but i fixed it with some sound tuning.

also since i got my pros today i have ran some test on them. also my friend lend me his astro A40 AND I DECIDED to run a simluated test on both of them, i will post up the results when i can. im thinking that astros would beat my pros and oooohhh boy i was wrong. my test involed different sound levels and stress to the speakers. and by FAR the TT Pros win.i though maybe my pc was messed up. but after searching sound test on the astro and the TT on youtube its was the same results. So basicly astro cost more but TT are better. the only thing good i would say about astros are it is alot sturdier that TT.

yea if your looking for a cheap headset turtle beach is the way to go. hmm does anyone have or tried the yellow glasses from TT?

Did you finally decide to go with the PRO'S, how do you like em so far ???.As far as the yellow Glasses there are a few reviews on Youtube about them some people claim that is you have eye strain normally while playing they do help but they take some getting used to as it turns everything yellowish "while your wearing" of course. Here is a video of a good review I found, you might find it helpful even though there for the Gunnar Optiks not the TT but same thing I beleive.:y:
