Recently my ps3 has been freezing a lot on Madden 10 and getting these" lines from the sky to the ground" they are not a part of the game as this occurs for almost every game...online and offline... i 1st noticed this in Assasins Creed 2 as it had a lot of the lines....i checked wether this was affecting any other part of my ps3, but no it only happens during Games, nothing during movies or browsing the web. Thank You and Hopefully you can help! I am willing to pay 20$ us paypal to anyone who could help me solve this problem

I got mine at Walmart, the other cables were 50 to 60 bucks so I'm happy.

i use to have really bad freezing on my 60gb

i just turned my ps3 vertical and it ran fine

and to this day my 60gb ps3 soldiered on... without a replacement!

im so proud

Dude its just your disc, try another disc.if not , then its your blu ray drive acting up.

Yea re reading your post, and these other peoples posts, they are retarded. formating your hard drive? wtf will that do? theres only one problem to this, and that if it gives you lines to all of your discs. try using a brand new NO SCRATCHES, NO SMUDGES game disc and see if that works. If you still get the lines, it is 100 PERCENT the blu ray drive is faulty and needs to be repaired.

I'm having freezing issues on my PS3 aswell, only on games though.

I tried everything from trying another disc, restoring my PS3, etc.
Still freezing up. Also my PS3 makes strange noises [squeeky sounding] when the disc is in there, as if though it's struggling to play.
