Yea re reading your post, and these other peoples posts, they are retarded. formating your hard drive? wtf will that do? theres only one problem to this, and that if it gives you lines to all of your discs. try using a brand new NO SCRATCHES, NO SMUDGES game disc and see if that works. If you still get the lines, it is 100 PERCENT the blu ray drive is faulty and needs to be repaired.

To replace a blu ray drive? Probably if you do it yourself, its about 75 dollars for a new drive, my friends at knightsgamingrepair(google them) do it for about 90, so probably all together its about 100 dollars to get it totally fixed.

I had a similar issue with my old console, it was a fat 80GB also.
Turns out, the graphics card was fried. Yours may be on its way out.
*First, try different games. (I see you said you have done so) Does it happen when you play downloaded games/demos or only on a disc game? (this can help determine whether it is the disc drive or another problem)
*Second, try different HDMI/RCA cables
If none of these options help then you may also be victim to a dying video card. It sucks.
No need to make donation, I like to think of this community as a place we can help each other out free of charge. It's silly you had to mention that to get attention. :p

Never use a regular vacuum to clean the dust.
