With the recent influx of bannings on all consoles, there are too many threads being made on how not to get banned, and theories and methods on not getting banned.

We need to keep them all organized and in one place so from now on, (Goes for all sections) they will be posted here.

Ya im also banned lol and there is just no way around it.. 1 match of domination is not enough!

wish i knew this earlier, had to buy a new ps3 and returned the old one

I have an idea, now its a shot in the dark and i doubt it would work but..
Try using an alternate account to connect to call of duty, like make a new psn completely, make sure you get the error that says you were console banned, call Treyarc and ask why your console banned, if they say you were hacking say you just bought the ps3 at a gamestop or other game trading store and see what happens.

Just a complete shot in the dark.

hang on for a second.. im one hundred percent sure that the MAC address is from the wireless G adapter inside the ps3 (this is really easy to get to, its one of the first things you take apart when i took apart my ps3 to fix my YLOD) so what im wondering is would it be possible to just buy a replacement wireless G adapter for the PS3 on ebay or somewhere on the internet (i know you could find them somewhere) and be unbanned.. someone should honestly try this because buying a new wireless G adapter would be a lot cheaper than a new PS3, the only reason that this would not work is if a) the psID is actually banned or b) there is a seperate MAC address for the PS3 itself

First all i wanna say sorry for my english.

I studied and reversed BO Server Socket "Operation" trough Charles and PS3DSN , without success.

But i uderstand few important things :

There is 2 important Servers :

First one check all your account information (level,stats,combat records, MAC, PSID, if you are banned or not, ect,ect) :

cod7-ps3-auth.demonware.net

Now this server is the first one were you PS3/XBOX trying to conect.
I realy can't get the infos that this server sends to PS3. Im still working on it, if we could able to change this infos
we should be able to change the info that say to the PS3 that we are banned.

Second one is the server were Lobby infos are stored (DM,TDM,CTF,players on it, ect ect) :

cod7-ps3-lobby.prod.demonware.net

** Theory ** Changing the server of the PS3 with than the XBOX one you should able to play against players of XBOX on your PS3 ( never tried becouse i dont know XBOX lobby server..)

Others 5 servers just place you on your right country "they are pretty useless"

An other way to bypass the the BAN system is with a real Cheat Device that going to mod the "RAM" stored in the game.
PSP examples : NitePR,Cheatmaster,CWCheat.

I alredy done it before on some PSP games, it easy.
But unfortunately PS3's CFW still can't run unsinged plugins as PSP does.

So i don't really suggest to buy another PS3 just be patient.

If Blops Permaban is Console ID, wouldn't it be possible to change your Console ID AFTER signing into PSN with stoker25's app?
