(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Sony has re-released the 3.56 update. There aren't many details about what is in the re-release. I am thinking it has something to do with the problems with upgrading our hard drives. Which if you know the 3.56 v1 stopped most of us from doing this. Possibly this v2 will help with this issue.

v2 is supposed to help fix the upgrading hard drive issue that the v1 had.

Haha, you can still go online without updating. I guess this is an optional update?

Yup its optional. Only reason someone would need it is if they wanted to upgrade their hard drive.
