(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Sony has re-released the 3.56 update. There aren't many details about what is in the re-release. I am thinking it has something to do with the problems with upgrading our hard drives. Which if you know the 3.56 v1 stopped most of us from doing this. Possibly this v2 will help with this issue.

No, I'm pretty sure it's either by 1) IP address 2) PS3 serial number or 3) some weird ass mix of both.

So they've updated 3.56 and just re-released it? I don't understand. Does everyone have to update again now?

It was a quiet release meaning its not a mandatory update.

maybe its for another country?
i seen it happen before where the same update would show as optional i went and search around and it turn out it was for another country
