Notice: Unauthorized circumvention devices for the PlayStation 3 system have been recently released by hackers. These devices permit the use of unauthorized or pirated software. Use of such devices or software violates the terms of the “System Software License Agreement for the PlayStation 3 System” and the “Terms of Services and User Agreement” for the PlayStation Network/Qriocity and its Community Code of Conduct provisions. Violation of the System Software Licence Agreement for the PlayStation 3 System invalidates the consumer guarantee for that system. In addition, copying or playing pirated software is a violation of International Copyright Laws. Consumers using circumvention devices or running unauthorized or pirated software will have access to the PlayStation Network and access to Qriocity services through PlayStation 3 system terminated permanently.
To avoid this, consumers must immediately cease use and remove all circumvention devices and delete all unauthorized or pirated software from their PlayStation 3 systems.

I'm just gonna spend a few weeks with my PS3 internet disconnected until this blows over and/or an exploit is released.

Couldnt u get banned prior to this statement? Not 100%, but I think Sony could have done this without telling us, cause CFW is killing vGame companies and Mw2 of course

just don't do the PSN bypass. if you wanna play online with CFW features just update. if you wanna sacrifice online then keep your CFW and shut the **** up. Cuz these will be the only options soon enough.

Online works fine, it's psn that is the problem, all my on demand services work, love film is fine and so is the Internet browser, the bypass won't make any difference if Sony knew we was bypassing then they would stop us, unless of course they can't 

So wait, you can use homebrew apps (multiMAN, etc) while on 3.56?

That would be suicide, 3.56 has the apparent root kit, you would be less likely having a 3 way with mr. Sony's mum and sister then running homebrew on 3.56 ofw that and the fact you would get trapped by the new TOS for psn so insta ban for homebrew

Where is it in the court PDF that says that? I am sure Sony wouldn't violate something so fast if it were true.


And also Sony makes money off Software, they have been losing money on Consoles which explains why they have so many exclsuives to help make up for losses

could anyone tell me what exactly happens if I get banned? Will I never be able again to log in with my account? What if I buy a new console, can I log back in with my banned account on it?

I think I will be banned now coz Im not going to delete all this stuff, im too lazy lol ^^ And I want to finish my downloaded mass effect 2 and other games... good thing that I finished the killzone 3 campaign today!

Buying another PS3 will allow you to go back online. So those with multiple PS3's would be better off keeping one of their's jailbroken.

If you don't have 3.56 installed you don't have the rootkit so how and the hell are they going to catch anyone?
