too bad that these "wipelog" apps dont work on my ps3.. i tried to install serveral of them but im always getting an error maybe its because im on waninkokos cfw..

Just remove your legit ps3 account from your jailbroken ps3.
And use it on your legit ps3 if you get one.
Unless you want to - we don't know whether sony will start mass banning those who fail to follow this so called e-mail.

Wanna get clean?

Delete everything of your ps3 manually.
Then format your PS3 (full format)
Then restore to normal FW.
Restore again(quick format)

This will just delete any hacking files if you want to un-jailbreak your ps3 - not likely that it will remove every single trace of what you've done but their not going to do anything if you've already already hacked but not hacking anymore that's why their asking you to remove any hacks of your ps3.
