The dev claims that sony is allowing 'spoofed' consoles to connect in order to flag them out personally.

Personal responses on this? Mathieulh seems to believe many of us who chose to spoof will be banned very shortly. Regardless, should we have to face the consequences knowning that we chose our own path in regards to jailbreaking in the first place?

If they start banning consoles etc. Then eBay will be seeing my PS3 very soon and I have another 2 PS3's so who gives a shit, Sony was going to start doing this eventually, this was inevitable. I'm 99.9999% sure that another work around will be released.

Exactly, there was no question Sony was going to perform such action. I personally jailbroke my console as well. Regardless, I believe possessing backed up games, along with emulators, and numerous other tweaks, compensates the loss of PSN.
