black bars on the side of the screen only when on ps3?

this just happened when i was using my hd pvr. everything is smaller and it looks to be in wide screen and i cant find out on the ps3 or internet how to fix it. NOBODY here is helping me only giving me smartass remarks i will pay vbux and rep if u find a way for me :muck:

Use 720P.

same thing is happening same black bars
Use 720P.

its a standard defintion tv it can only be NTSC ( standard)

i am in display settings and this is happening i got the compnent cables from hauppauge so idk?
