If your using Component cables your Video Input needs to be YPrPb, if its Composite (red, white and yellow) then you choose Composite Video.
Audio Input RCA Back (not sure if Composite).
then Device.

When you connect your xbox/ps3 to the PVR and load in ArcSoft, look at the Input Resolution and it should say 1280x720, if not, when your rendering a video (if you use any editing software such as Sony Vegas) you have to change the size of the video (Frame Size/Input Resolution) to 1280x720.

Quote me if neither of these ideas solve the problem.

ArcSoft automatically changes the input resolution. You cannot change it yourself within ArcSoft.
Can I ask, are you using the cables that go into the front of your PVR (Yellow, White and Red/Composite), or the cables that go in the back of your PVR (Component)?
