this just happened when i was using my hd pvr. everything is smaller and it looks to be in wide screen and i cant find out on the ps3 or internet how to fix it. NOBODY here is helping me only giving me smartass remarks i will pay vbux and rep if u find a way for me :muck:

I can't exactly remember what happened when I used them. But can you change the display settings on the PS3 to 720p or anything like that?
If you can't then your problem is right there, you need Component Cables compatible with your PS3, not Composites.
If your TV is not a HDTV and doesn't support Component cables, then your stuck with the Composites and may have to buy a HDTV.

You may not have to buy a HDTV though. Browse on Google or somewhere to see if you can find out how to "stretch" the frame if you know what I mean in an editing program, though this may result in poorer quality.

Try reseting the video input on your ps3

well i got a new HDTV a sony bravia ok so now when i plug the red red green blue white into the back of the tv it says no signal yay me! i now dont even have my ps3 working yes im so fukin happy i wasted 400$
