I dont know if i have my credit card info on it or anything but if i do is there anyway to clear that off the hard drive?
again the ps3 will not power on.

Put your hard drive in someone elses ps3 and wipe it that way? Thats all I can think of mate.

The hard drive will only read the PS3 it is assingned to. Try going on the playstion site, log into your account from the site and DeActivate the card from there. Or E-mail sony and ask them to do it for you :y:. Hope i helped:rolleyes:

Of course, but I just tried putting one hard drive into another PS3 and it worked?
Oh well lol, yes you can remind me in the morning, after 7am as that was when my last rep was given out:y:

Try hooking up the hard drive into your computer and then formatting it (if you know how and your computer can connect another HDD of course), if not just do the other ways the others have posted.
