(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Ok so this confuses me cause I keep seeing things like "XBOX onlinen is smother/ better" but last time I checked a game like BFBC2 the gamers are almost identical and then I hear, "yeah are online is better cause we pay £40" but I don't get why if I want to play BFBC2 then why do I need this service I get to play BFBC2 online we both use EA servers (nothing special) and we both get DLC so where did this online is "better" thing come from or is it a "I pay £40 so it must be better" thing, plz explain this to me????

Don't start a console war I'm just interested were this came from.

I used to be a Sony fanboy, Overtime I seen it was pointless. But from my experience M$ is throwing money around to get more stuff.

But the smoother part is the fact that the 360 must have more ram because you can send messages and that kind of stuff online. Compared to the ps3 seems to lag a little when going to your friends list and creating and sending a message.

OK the difference is that the money you pay for XBL is for Microsoft Servers, HOSTED by microsoft that developers use to host the multiplayer games on. Its one big whole system together its one big matchmaking system all controlled and administrated by Microsoft only. PS3's in the other hand is hosted by 3rd party servers that the developers buy so thats what makes it smoother, but for the ps3 it can be just as good or even better, it all depends on all the servers.

xbox online is exactly the same as ps3 if you have a decent broadband connection.

ive had both consoles and ps3 is the better console, as its a media center not just a games console.

when ever 'kids' moad oh we have servers that makes me laugh atleast with the ps3 you can set up the internet connection exactly how you want it, making it perfect.

on xbox i could never hoest i had to turn of DMZ so i could have open nat type on black ops. ps3 DMZ is on open nat type and host every single game.

download speeds are exactly the same.

for me the ONLY thing thats worth getting a xbox is Party chat which is pretty gay if you a cod search and destroy fan as you cant even use it lol, by coming back to ps3 ive not missed it once let alone even thought of it, ps3 simply doesnt need it but would benefit if it did have it.

when i got a xbox i was looking forward to this lag free online but nope gears of war what a joke online was a nightmare.

i dont really know why xbox is over hyped for the connection. this is my opinion if you disagree no need to hate you could say im a fanboy, thats because ive found the best console.

The difference between Xbox Live and PSN is mainly that Xbox Live gets some exclusive content because people are required to buy a subscription so Microsoft gets more money to spend on this stuff then Sony. I own both and there's no game-changing difference between them. Sure the PS3 has Blu-Ray but I think the Xbox's graphics are great too.

im sorry to say this but do u even know the difference in storage between a dvd and a blu-ray.... if all games were created for the ps3 then xbox would lose out on mass amounts of a game unless they split it up onto several discs... if you compare the hardware from the ps3 to the xbox u would be amazed at how much more powerful the ps3 is (just look at the cores), and yeah xbox has party chat (about the only thing xbox has apart from sky player) <--- thats what you pay £40 a year for ???? ps3 has many features that the xbox doesnt have aswel, again its all down to preference and how much money you want to spend.. even though if you buy an xbox you end up spending alot more than you would than buying a ps3 and having some better features such as 3d bluray with online support, better graphics for games, web browser, reliable hardware, video editor and uploader, movie streaming, lovefilm......etc the list goes on and on. apart from that they are pretty much the same lol have you ever seen the true 1080p test between a ps3 and xbox? (not including xbox slim) but yeah i guess its a tough decision

**** Also the only reason black ops is better on the xbox is because Treyarch prefer programming, coding and developing for the xbox.. the only reason microsoft paid extra money was for maps to be released earlier on the xbox ****

again... such an incorrect statement, there is a massive difference between the two consoles..... fanboys dont come into it just facts... fanboys are the ones that sit there and troll the other console saying how " its sh** " and that the other console " is a piece of spun* that should be wan*ed out of existence " lol... seriously if you dont think that there is a difference between the two then can u please google both console specs and check for yourself before making such an idiotic comment.... thankyou please Claps

I agree the ps3 is more media based but then thats what you pay for.. the extra hardware and software is in the initial cost so you can have these extra features.. true the xbox does have more games but then it had a massive headstart to the ps3... i cant remember, was it 2 years or just 1?? the ps3 is finally catching up with the amountof games being released but then it takes longer to fill up a 50gb disc compared to a 4gb so i guess thats why the exclusives take a while but they are worth the wait
