(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Ok so this confuses me cause I keep seeing things like "XBOX onlinen is smother/ better" but last time I checked a game like BFBC2 the gamers are almost identical and then I hear, "yeah are online is better cause we pay £40" but I don't get why if I want to play BFBC2 then why do I need this service I get to play BFBC2 online we both use EA servers (nothing special) and we both get DLC so where did this online is "better" thing come from or is it a "I pay £40 so it must be better" thing, plz explain this to me????

Don't start a console war I'm just interested were this came from.

i own both consoles but more ps3s, an example; when i am online on my 360 and i play nazi zombies, half the time i get to be the host of the game and people connected to me will have atleasts 3 bars. now i play the same game on my ps3 and it will NEVER make me the host.

i have both consoles setup equally, both wired ethernet but ps3 will always give me lag.
Another thing is that the xbox is built around xbox live, because of that it makes everything so easy when it comes to online, like party chats, keeping track of friends, messeging, streaming, etc, it just doesnt have a internet brower :/
I liked xbl so much i stopped using my 360 when mine expired.

As far as psn goes...the best way i can put it is, how often do u hangout at the psn store..hmm.. well if i didnt have psn i would still use the ps3 because its not all about online wiith ps3

im sorry to say this but do u even know the difference in storage between a dvd and a blu-ray.... if all games were created for the ps3 then xbox would lose out on mass amounts of a game unless they split it up onto several discs... if you compare the hardware from the ps3 to the xbox u would be amazed at how much more powerful the ps3 is (just look at the cores), and yeah xbox has party chat (about the only thing xbox has apart from sky player) <--- thats what you pay £40 a year for ???? ps3 has many features that the xbox doesnt have aswel, again its all down to preference and how much money you want to spend.. even though if you buy an xbox you end up spending alot more than you would than buying a ps3 and having some better features such as 3d bluray with online support, better graphics for games, web browser, reliable hardware, video editor and uploader, movie streaming, lovefilm......etc the list goes on and on. apart from that they are pretty much the same lol have you ever seen the true 1080p test between a ps3 and xbox? (not including xbox slim) but yeah i guess its a tough decision

**** Also the only reason black ops is better on the xbox is because Treyarch prefer programming, coding and developing for the xbox.. the only reason microsoft paid extra money was for maps to be released earlier on the xbox ****

I do in fact understand that a Blu-Ray can hold 25GB (single layer) and the Xbox disc can hold about 6.8GB. Microsoft just announced some sort of Beta to increase the the disc capacity. However, I doubt they'll reach close to 25GB unless its some kind of double layer or triple layer disc. I own both consoles and the 1080P to me looks the same unless I fire up Uncharted on the PS3. I will probably never use the 3D feature of the PS3 until 3D TV prices come down. I also don't see the point of having a web browser or video uploader on my console. That's what I use my computer for. In the end, the two consoles are pretty much the same and it really comes down to a personal preference. I prefer the Xbox for its Dashboard software but some of my friends like the PS3 for Blu-Ray.

black ops is the only game that has ever made my system freeze and lag so much. I think its more of the game ( Black Ops) then the ps3. Now the reason why people perfer the xbox for multiplatform games is because they make it based off the 360 and port it to the ps3.

you are wrong. ps3 nor xbox 360 have dedicated servers for black ops or any other CoD game that is.

I never said COD servers are dedicated, I said XBOX LIVE Servers are p2p and PSN Servers are dedicated.

again... such an incorrect statement, there is a massive difference between the two consoles..... fanboys dont come into it just facts... fanboys are the ones that sit there and troll the other console saying how " its sh** " and that the other console " is a piece of spun* that should be wan*ed out of existence " lol... seriously if you dont think that there is a difference between the two then can u please google both console specs and check for yourself before making such an idiotic comment.... thankyou please Claps

I agree the ps3 is more media based but then thats what you pay for.. the extra hardware and software is in the initial cost so you can have these extra features.. true the xbox does have more games but then it had a massive headstart to the ps3... i cant remember, was it 2 years or just 1?? the ps3 is finally catching up with the amountof games being released but then it takes longer to fill up a 50gb disc compared to a 4gb so i guess thats why the exclusives take a while but they are worth the wait

They both have different specs of course but both are good at something and at the same time suck at something else.

whats the point of having blu ray playback if the laser cant hold up. i had not 1, but 2 of my ps3's lasers die. hell, i even had 2 ps2's with laser problems. wtf sony.
i wouldnt be so mad if they didnt cost so much to replace since the rest of the console seems to be built tough

Have you seen what happens with the live money.

We get deals, Like the cod maps for example.

And better online connection.

Look my connection on ps3 is 28%

On xbox its 4 bar.

Explain that smart guy! Smile

I am error
i think they say its better because XBOX has better dedicated servers that dont crash when too many people try to play online at once

1) so do we Portal 2 DLC, Arkham Asylum play as joker etc

2) better online connection is down to the game mainly ( if MS buy for the game to be worse on PS3)

3) again depends on games ( uncharted, and other exclusives all dedicated servers, same for XBOX exclusives, but 3rd parties are down to publicers.

4) same as the above

5) half the stuff that people say XBOX gets just think is it just the game I play, and think does PS3 get this with other games?

Also the reason I didnt say COD BO is cause activision hates PS3 so I choice EA who are fair to both systems.
