Things you will need:

PS3 (Can be banned from Black Ops)
PS3 Serial Number
Phone (to call SONY or to get them to call you)
Photoshop
Customreceipt.com
A Brain

1. To start off download my blank receipt You must login or register to view this content.
2. Open it in Photoshop, then make a receipt on customreceipt.com.
3. Copy the information from the customreceipt image onto the blank receipt.
4. Now you can either phone SONY or E-mail them:

-Phone- Phone SONY and make up some garbage about how your ps3 randomly crashes and resets on a regular basis, give them your serial number, address etc, they should ask for your proof of purchase (our receipt we made), they will say you can fax it or post it, tell them you will FAX in the receipt, now go ahead and FAX in the receipt, someone from SONY will give you a call in a day or so and arrange a date to exchange the console on your door step.

-Email- E-mail SONY and make up some garbage about how your ps3 randomly crashes and resets on a regular basis, tell them you dont have a landline to phone them from so you will need someone to from SONY to phone you, leave your mobile number in the E-mail, when they phone you back give them your serial number, address etc, they should ask for your proof of purchase (our receipt we made), they will say you can fax it or post it, tell them you will FAX in the receipt, now go ahead and FAX in the receipt, someone from SONY will give you a call in a day or so and arrange a date to exchange the console on your door step.

After doing this i got a new ps3 on 3.15, so for anyone that "ACCIDENTLY" updated or their "BROTHER" got them banned from Black Ops, try it and post your results, oh and for anyone thats going to say proof or gtfo, go try it then post your proof cause I didnt plan on making a tutorial so i dont have any proof.

I bet 6 outta 10 people that read this will try it though, and its not like SONY are going to follow it up, it would cost them even more money if they followed it up, over what something that costs them about £130 to manufacture.

I rather buy new PS3 with my own money again than go to Jail.

I highly doubt SONY will follow it up especially if there isnt anything wrong with your PS3, i made up some shit and they gave me a new one, mine was fully working (just banned from black ops), any consoles they receive will be refurbished and used in the same process again.

I wouldnt follow your steps as described, since you can land yourself in a legal bind. But yes, if your new PS3 gets screwed, they will send you the stock ones that never shipped or ones refurbished, and its likely you will get an older firmware since they dont update them.

My tutorial is just a guidline anyway, anyone can feel free to say what ever they like to SONY (making up faults etc.), i was shocked when they fell for a fake receipt.

An easier way. Go to a nearest games shop. buy a PS3.

Right i have 2 Ps3's One was banned from Black Ops and One that isnt, i could have just used that one but i couldnt be bothered, instead i did this, also theres allot of people out there that cant afford to go out and buy a new PS3.
