What a bunch of Try-hards. These "Anonymous" douche bags aren't anything different than your everyday script kiddie who thinks they're making a point or are doing something great.

If they want to keep "Hacking", go for it. They're still going to lose, and they're going to be looking at much more than a simple lawsuit this time around. It'll be the FBI who comes talking to them... I wonder if these people know what "Cyber Terrorism" is.

Let me make one thing clear... "Anonymous" is not a cyber terrorist group. "Anonymous" is not made up of a bunch of skript kiddies looking for cheap thrills.

Have you looked around you lately? Do you see the world unraveling around you? Do you have this nagging feeling that something just isn't right with the world but you just can't put your finger on it?

Right now, the people on this planet are being lied to, manipulated, scammed and roibbed. People are being stripped of their freedoms in ways that most people are not aware of ir in such small amounts that they are conent with the changes that are taking place thinking it if for the best. It is not. "Anonymous" consists of a very large collective of people that understand that the world we live in is not the world we are forced to view it as. It is a group that refuses to just stand by and watch the general public become victims of the tyrany that is inflicted by greedy corporations, malicious institutions and pollitically corrupt powers.

Acts carried out by "Anonymous" are not meant to bring harm to the innocent, they are carried out to bring cyber justice to groups who are corrupt and who soley care for themselves instead of the individuals who they are supposed to provide a service to.

Before you put down "Anonymous", perhaps you should do a little research on the group you are trashing. You may just find that "Anonymous" is fighting for you.

Anonymous used to be big back in the day. They used to be badasses but nowadays they are just hackers. They used to stand and fight for something and a cause. But now anyone could call them self anonymous if they know how to hack a website.

Cyber-Terrorism has quite a clear definition, and if you look it up, you'll see that they fit that description quite well.

If these "groups" actually cared about the individual, they wouldn't be taking out their frustrations on everyone. If they want to "attack the playstation network", they aren't fighting for me. If they want to attack the official sony website (which thousands use), they aren't fighting for me. Basically, if they attack anything that the public has use of on a daily basis, they are not fighting for us.

These people do not understand the concept of Justice. Their latest upset is that geohot got sued. Big deal. The kid was spreading shit around allowing individuals to hack the various online games (which hurts Sony aswell as developers when people stop utilizing their software).

What people don't understand, is that he wasn't sued for "cracking his own system", he was sued for spreading information and the tools necessary to breach the ToS and cause issues for all these developers and the Sony system.

This "Anonymous" group are just attention-whoring kids, that's all. If they were actually in the right, they'd pursue legal action instead of issuing "cyber threats" while COWERING behind the anonymity that the internet provides.

a Sony representative told GameSpot. "If this is indeed caused by such act, we want to once again thank our customers who have borne the brunt of the attack through interrupted service. Our engineers are working to restore and maintain the services, and we appreciate our customers' continued support. "

The good news for PS3 owners is that it appears as if Anonymous will be backing off its hostilities. An update to the loose-knit organization's website claims it would no longer be directing its efforts at bringing down services such as the PlayStation Network.

"Anonymous is not attacking the PSN at this time," the update reads. "Sony's official position is that the PSN is undergoing maintenance. We realize that targeting the PSN is not a good idea. We have therefore temporarily suspended our action, until a method is found that will not severely impact Sony customers."

"Anonymous is on your side, standing up for your rights," the message continues. "We are not aiming to attack customers of Sony. This attack is aimed solely at Sony, and we will try our best to not affect the gamers, as this would defeat the purpose of our actions. If we did inconvenience users, please know that this was not our goal."

There is no kind of attack that they can pull off on Sony that won't affect or inconvenience users of their services. Short of going to Sony HQ and taking people hostage, any "Cyber Terrorism" they pull is going to affect more than just Sony.

They are not standing up for anyone's rights. They're just out to try and be the "big kids" on the block attempting to bully other people to get their way. If they TRULY cared about protecting our rights, why did they wait this long to actually get started? Why not start as soon as the Sony vs Geohot suit started? Why not start once Sony removed OtherOS? Why wait until today?

They don't actually care. They just want people to think they do.
