Yes but what sony did was illegal, they took away other os, since one of the features with the ps3 was other os and it was advertised, them taking it away is called false advertisement which is illegal, now lets compare sony with microsoft, what have microsoft done? they've banned thousands of people of xbl yet they sue no one, and they don't take any features that were advertised on the original xbox, this is because microsoft actually care about their customers, while sony on the other hand, take other os away, and sue almost every hacker. It's why the anon group are doing such things (hacking servers, etc) to teach sony not to p!ss off their customers, the people who actually made sony what they are today.

Sony being attacked is the best thing to ever happen to Sony.. most of the people that got mad at the OtherOS being takin away were not pirating games.. Pirating games is not the discussion.. they didnt sue Geohot for pirating games.. yes we know now he had a PSN but this still does not mean he pirated games.. CFW is not intended for Pirating... If you got CFW and you are backing up games then yes you should be punished.. but for taking OtherOS away from someone that bought it for Linix and to play games online with PSN those are the people that got raped .. What if the PC industry started following what Sony is doing.. What if they told you that you could only run Microsoft Products on Microsoft Windows? .. Yes Geohot released it to the masses.. why not?? Do you see him going to court now from Apple.. it was thrown out the window.. lol Im so angry at people that think what Annon is doing is not cool.. No it's not Illegal what they in the TOS for most products always state that the TOS may change (TOS = terms of service) meaning they can remove other OS but they have to notify you which they did that's why everytime you install a new firmware you always have to agree, if you agreed on the 3.40 update (I think that removed other os option) you agreed on the option to remove the other os from your ps3 and if you dissagreed you get to keep your precious other OS but you loose online gameplay
